DRAVA
The Durham Region Association for Volunteer Administration (DRAVA) is a professional networking body that supports members, provides education, identifies and responds to current trends in the volunteer administration sector.
Due to the vision of staff at Information Oshawa and a number of volunteer involving organisations throughout Durham, DRAVA was formed in 1987. It was one of the first so-purposed associations to form in the Province of Ontario The group was first called Volunteer Coordinators of Durham Region and in its fledgling state had 18 – 20 member agencies which has now grown to a membership of approximately 50 organisations as well as a number of memberships held by individuals. June Meeting
Regular Meetings
are held the second Thursday of each month from September until June in The Village of Taunton Mills, 3800 Brock St. N., Whitby. (South of Taunton on the west side) Enter through the front doors and take the first set of stairs to your left. The meeting room is at the top of the stairs. Meetings start at 9:00 a:m with networking taking place from 8:30am - 9:00am PAVR-O Certification
